summer session schedule update | ct baby, child and family photographer

Summer openings are almost fully booked! I have one open weekend left before September, so if you were hoping for a summer session, perhaps at the beach or a favorite park, now is the time to book it. My current availability is as follows:

June – Fully booked.

July – Weekends are fully booked but I do have a handful of weekday and evenings openings.

August – One weekend left!

Newborn Sessions – Babies are best photographed during the first 10 days life, so it’s never too early to book your newborn session! Even with a full schedule, I will always try to squeeze in a newborn session whenever possible, so please contact me even if you don’t see any availability listed.

My schedule is always changing and slots do open up on occasion so I also keep a waiting list. Please contact me if you would like to add your name.

I will also be opening up the fall schedule shortly, so if you would like to add your name to the mailing list and be the first to be notified of fall and holiday session availability just email me at kelli@kellidease.com.

I think it’s pretty clear by now that I’m not very good at keeping this blog current! Some days start out promising: I answer a few emails, get some editing done, process a few orders, and am about to post a few pictures on the blog when someone pours yogurt on the dog or decides that he must play with the EXACT toy that his brother is holding at that very moment and no other toy in the universe will do, and then I have to switch into Crisis Management Mode. By the time I sit back down at the computer all momentum is lost, and instead of doing any real work I just waste time on Facebook … which probably explains why my Facebook page is much more up to date!

Here are a few favorites from some recent sessions. Better late than never!

Nothing is more classic than a traditional print (or, even better, a beautiful wall gallery) and having all of your images on CD is the perfect way to archive your memories, but I’ve been wanting to offer my clients something a bit more for a while now. That’s why I’m so excited to finally launch my product line! I have been spending a LOT of time over the past few months researching companies, searching through websites and catalogs, and ordering samples in order to bring you the best of the best products available only to professional photographers. I’m not quite done yet – I’m still in the process of designing my top-of-the-line album, a gorgeous 10×10 coffee table book with a custom image cover, and I’m putting together some beautiful birth announcements. Take a look in the boutique and let me know what you think! I love to hear client feedback and, as always, I’m open to suggestions if you’ve found something that you love that I don’t currently offer.

I will be away on vacation from Wednesday, the 24th through Sunday, the 28th. All calls and emails will be answered promptly when I return.

Last year’s session giveaway was such a success that I am doing it again!! The prize is the same: a FREE photo session and a complete digital package (valued at over $1,300!) but the contest will work just a bit differently.

So, who can enter? Anyone! (As long as you have, or are expecting, a child, that is!) How do you enter? That’s easy! You can enter once in each of the following ways:

I would just like to thank all of wonderful clients again for such a great year! I’ve been REALLY behind on keeping this blog updated with sneak peeks and recent sessions, but my plan is to do a ‘year in review’ post to make up for not posting pictures from, oh, at least 95% of my sessions. That’s my plan. Will it actually ever happen? Who knows! But it’s the thought that counts, right?

Onto other things …

January – March: Booking for clients who have purchased the Baby’s First Year package and newborns only. It is highly recommended that newborn photos are done during the first ten days of life, so if you are expecting any time after January 1st please contact me ASAP to book your session.

September – October: All available sessions have been filled. I do hold some time slots open for weather delays and newborns, so it is possible that something might open up. Please contact me if you would like to be added to the waiting list.

2009 Holiday Season: In order to guarantee that your prints arrive in time for the holidays, all sessions must be completed by November 1st. All orders must be submitted by November 15th.

Tis the season, once again, for holiday photo sessions and I am pleased to offer two new holiday mini-session packages for the 2009 holiday season, both offering significant discounts off of my regular prices.

So what is a mini-session? Essentially, it is a shorter versions of a regular session designed to capture a few fabulous images for your holiday cards and gifts.
