Meet 11 day old Frankie. Such a sweet little boy! His photo session was relaxed and easy from beginning to end. Mom and I chatted while Frankie dozed, and he was like putty in my hands. Sessions like these are why I love my job!
I love sibling portraits. They are what every mother wants, but photographers know just how hard these are to capture. Frankie’s big brother couldn’t have been more cooperative, though, and we were able to get some beautiful images.

This weather is just depressing. Just last week it was seventy degrees, and now I sit here, staring out the window, waiting for it to start snowing. Last I heard, they were predicting half a foot. Outdoor portrait season is right around the corner, but it feels a lifetime away.
I don’t know about you, but I need a little motivation to start thinking in terms of sunshine instead of snow. What better motivation than a little sale?

The Spring newsletter has gone out and booking for Spring and Summer portrait sessions is in full force! If you missed the newsletter, here are some of the highlights:
The snow is almost all gone. Almost. I know it’s hard to believe, especially when the grass is still brown, but Spring is right around the corner! I, for one, cannot wait. After this winter, I’ll be happy if I don’t see snow for another ten years. Bring on the sunshine!
The weather may have been dreadful, but the winter season at Kelli Dease Photography has been the best yet. I’ve gotten the chance to photograph so many adorable newborns and babies this winter, and there are many more already on the calendar for Spring and Summer. I’m also really looking forward to getting back outside for some child and family sessions. I’m now taking appointments for Spring and Summer session dates. Availability is very limited this year and Spring is a very popular season, so if you were planning to book a session, NOW is the time!

Once again, it’s time for the annual Spring session giveaway!! The prize is the same: a FREE photo session and a complete digital package (valued at over $1,300!).
So, who can enter? Anyone! (As long as you have, or are expecting, a child, that is!) How do you enter? That’s easy! Just click this link and fill out the entry form.
The theme of the contest this year is social media, and an entry will be drawn at random when I reach 700 fans on my Facebook page. If you’re not already a fan, head over to my page and click the “Like” button at the top. Then, spread the word to your friends using the “Suggest to Friends” link on the right-hand side of the page.
