When Connecticut Parent magazine requested something seasonally appropriate for the March cover, I panicked a bit! They wanted to stay away from newborns and infants since they had already featured a great newborn shot on the January cover. Instead they were looking for an outside shot reflecting this time of year. The majority of my outdoor photography is done April through October, so while I had plenty of beach sessions and fall foliage sessions to choose from, those didn’t exactly fit the theme that they were going for! Then I started gong through my archives, and I remembered that I had done a fundraiser for Mothers and More of New Haven early last Spring. Perfect! Not only did I have some great images to choose from, but I love being able to showcase the images of the M&M kids since that organization (and all of the wonderful women that I’ve met through there) means so much to me.
