When you’re shooting a family photo session for a fellow photographer, the pressure is on! I was really looking forward to this session, but as we pulled into the parking lot at Hammonasset Beach, the sky clouded over and the weather turned cold and windy. The beautiful light was gone, the kids were cold and miserable, and any other day I would’ve just rescheduled, but we had all driven over an hour to the beach so we gave the session a chance. It was rough at first, but just as we were about to give up, the weather cleared up and the sky glowed pink. It all worked out in the end, and I love the photos we were able to capture that day!
