Every tiny detail tells a story. My newborn photography celebrates the natural beauty of your baby through a timeless, minimalist approach. Sessions take place in my Farmington, Connecticut studio, where I create a controlled environment with perfect lighting and ideal room temperature—both essential for a successful newborn session. Soft, white tones provide a serene canvas, drawing focus to delicate features—tiny fingers, curled toes, and peaceful expressions. With an organic, baby-led style, each pose feels authentic and comfortable. where will my newborn session take place?
Newborn sessions are done in my studio, allowing me to shoot in a controlled environment, with the perfect lighting and room temperature that are so important to the success of a newborn session.
how soon should I book?
It is never too early to book! In general, I have more flexibility in the winter months, with the warmer months and the holiday season being booked far in advance. However, even if you’re planning is last minute, there is always a chance I’ll have an opening.
What if the baby doesn't arrive on schedule?
When you book your session I will tentatively put you on the calendar for the closest opening following your due date. If the baby arrives later or earlier than expected we can always adjust the date.
when is the best time for a newborn session?
For the best results, newborn sessions are typically done within three weeks of the baby’s birth. However, I have worked with babies up to six weeks old and gotten great results. As long as baby acne and colic aren’t present and the baby is still sleeping well, the session should go smoothly.
