Newborn photo sessions take place in my Farmington, Connecticut studio, where I create a controlled environment with perfect lighting and ideal room temperature, both essential for a successful newborn session. Your baby’s first year moves quickly, and most parents don’t want to miss a thing. The First Year Membership documents each milestone, from maternity to newborn, sitter, and first birthday, so the images come together as one complete story by the end of that first year. This flexible package lets you choose the milestones that matter most to your family while receiving increasing savings along the way.

where will my newborn session take place?
Newborn photo sessions are done in my Farmington, CT studio, allowing me to photograph in a controlled environment, with the perfect lighting and room temperature that are so important to the success of a newborn session.
how soon should I book?
It is never too early to book! In general, I have more flexibility in the winter months, with the warmer months and the holiday season being booked far in advance. However, even if you’re planning is last minute, there is always a chance I’ll have an opening.
What if the baby doesn't arrive on schedule?
When you book your newborn photoshoot, I will tentatively put you on the calendar for the closest opening following your due date. If the baby arrives later or earlier than expected we can always adjust the date.
When's the best time to do a newborn photoshoot?
For the best results, newborn photo shoots are typically done within three weeks of the baby’s birth. However, I have worked with babies up to six weeks old and gotten great results. As long as baby acne and colic aren’t present and the baby is still sleeping well, the session should go smoothly.
