FAQ – Personality Portraits

Each session is ideal for 1-2 kids (ages 3+ although toddlers may participate with older siblings). If you have more children we recommend booking an additional session. If you don’t see any back-to-back sessions available, please contact the studio directly prior to booking.

All sessions are located in the KDP studio at 29 Mill Street in Unionville, Connecticut.

We highly recommend neutral tones or soft colors without graphics. Keep it simple and timeless. All children will be photographed barefoot, so no need to plan for shoes and socks. Favorite stuffed animals or small toys are welcome, but our rule of thumb is always “if you don’t want it in the photos, leave it at home”.

All of your images will go through an initial editing process that includes cropping and color correction. Any images that you purchase will go through a detailed retouching process, removing any scratches, cuts, runny noses, etc.

Yes. Additional digital images will be priced at both an individual and a bulk rate. We also offer both in-house printing services and custom wall art. Although it is optional, we highly recommend printing from our professional printing lab to ensure your images are sharp, color-accurate, and of the highest quality.
