I’m Kelli, a newborn and family photographer based in Farmington, Connecticut. For more than 17 years, I’ve been photographing growing families, from tiny newborns to busy toddlers, school-aged kids, and beyond. I also offer professional headshots for parents and professionals who want to put their best face forward.

Book online or fill out the contact form and I’ll reply within 24 hours. Secure your spot with a contract and deposit, then get your session guide.

Your hand-edited images will be delivered via an online gallery.

my approach to newborn and family photos
When I photograph your family, I’m not just aiming for pretty pictures. I’m looking for the in-between moments. The spontaneous giggle, the little hand-hold, the way your child nuzzles into your neck. Those are the things I want you to remember when you look back at your images.
I’ll guide you into flattering poses, but I won’t leave you standing frozen in front of the camera. I encourage movement, laughter, and interaction so your photos feel alive and natural. Every session flows differently, and that’s exactly how it should be.

I’m incredibly grateful for all of you and can’t wait to welcome you back next year.
And a special shoutout to the two people I couldn’t do this without. This marks ten years with my wonderful Santa. Or nine? The Covid years are a blur. Either way, I’ve already told him retirement is not an option. He’s stuck with me.
And my trusty “elf,” my husband, shows up every single year and holds down the fort. He keeps the door running smoothly, keeps the schedule on track, and keeps me sane. He’s the real MVP, mostly because he puts up with my type A tendencies and my “suggestions” that are really just orders. I’m not exactly a relaxed supervisor.
He keeps showing up anyway. Not that he really has a choice.

It’s not quite finished (I may have forgotten to buy ornament hooks among other things 🤦♀️), but it’s already feeling festive.

Christmas is coming to the studio soon! Technically, it’s still on a delivery truck somewhere in the Northeast at the moment. Now, on to the question everyone asks right after booking: What should we wear? I’ll dive into all the details in the newsletter, but here’s the short version - you can’t go wrong with neutrals. If you want something more festive, add a touch of Christmas color or a little sparkle.

It’s been absolutely bananas around here (as it always is this time of year). Outdoor sessions are officially booked solid, but if you’re not on the waitlist, don’t worry! There are still some in-studio options open!

Every year, I’m blown away by how many families make Santa sessions part of their holiday tradition. Watching the kids grow up in these photos is the best part! Same Santa, same magic, but the kids get a little taller and a lot braver every year.
I’ve worked with the same Santa for ten years now, and the kids light up the moment they see him. For some, it’s their very first visit. For others, it’s the highlight of their holiday season. Either way, it’s never too late to start your own tradition.

It’s been a whirlwind of a month filled with shoots (and thankfully, perfect weather!). Fall has felt more like summer so far, and I’m not complaining. I’ll be out of the office from October 9th to 13th for a little R&R to recharge before diving back in for the busy season ahead.
