I’m Kelli, a newborn and family photographer based in Farmington, Connecticut. For more than 17 years, I’ve been photographing growing families, from tiny newborns to busy toddlers, school-aged kids, and beyond. I also offer professional headshots for parents and professionals who want to put their best face forward.

my approach to newborn and family photos
When I photograph your family, I’m not just aiming for pretty pictures. I’m looking for the in-between moments. The spontaneous giggle, the little hand-hold, the way your child nuzzles into your neck. Those are the things I want you to remember when you look back at your images.

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately. Fall sessions are in full swing, I’m getting everything ready for Santa and holiday sessions in November, and I`m terrible at multitasking. Social media is always the first thing to get pushed aside.
Sharing a few favorites from this sweet first birthday session finally made it to the top of the to-do list. I love milestone sessions because they`re such a fun way to celebrate and remember all the little details before your baby isn’t so little anymore.
If scheduling photos has been sitting on your “someday” list, I get it. Parents are juggling so much, and it’s easy for things like booking a session to fall to the bottom of the list. I get a lot of last-minute inquiries and always try to accommodate, so it’s never too late to reach out. Online scheduling is available to make things simple, but if you don’t see a date that works, just send me a message.

I`d be lying if I said that newborn sessions with toddlers always go exactly as planned! We`ll eventually get the shot, though! Whether your toddler is hamming it up for the camera or hiding behind your legs, I’ve seen it all (and I’ve got plenty of tricks up my sleeve). The goal isn’t perfection, it’s connection.
