Before we get into options for fall photo sessions, can we just talk for a minute about how this mama nailed the wardrobe for her session? One of my favorite parts of the planning process is styling clients because feeling comfortable and looking beautiful can make a huge difference in the final images. I’ve worked with this family several times, so mom knew the final look she wanted and started shopping last spring for her September shoot. She found her gorgeous dress at a boutique in Newport, and then we worked together to style the rest of the family, combining pieces from the client wardrobe with some of the family’s own clothing. I absolutely love the way it all came together!
If you’ve never had family photos taken, or getting dressed up usually just entails not wearing yoga pant (guilty!) then styling can be incredibly intimidating and you may have no idea where to begin. I am here to help!! All of my clients get a detailed session guide, which goes over what to wear, how to coordinate colors, what fabrics and textures work best, where to shop, and even what NOT to wear (like big logos and loud colors). I also offer a complete wardrobe that every member of your family can borrow from, and use of the client wardrobe is included with every session at no extra cost. Don’t have time to come into the studio and look through the wardrobe? No problem! I will do some online shopping for you, complete with style boards and links to purchase the pieces you like best.

So, now that we’ve taken the stress out of the big “what to wear” question, let’s talk about options for fall and holiday sessions!
A full list of fall and holiday options can be found here.
Fall minis are SOLD OUT but if the weather cooperates and I don’t have to use up all of my backup dates on rain reschedules, I may open up another date for October minis! If you’d like to add your name to the waitlist, just contact the studio.
Full-length sessions are SOLD OUT for September and weekends, but I still have a few openings left for weeknights in October. With a full-length session you receive a complete custom experience. You choose the date. You choose the time. You choose the location. There is no set time limit so there’s plenty of time for a full range of posed and candid photos. For more information, click here.
In-studio holiday minis are also SOLD OUT, but there are still a few dates left for Pajama Minis and Santa Mini Sessions. If you’ve never come to our Sanat Minis before, it is a client favorite and we’ve added a whole extra day this year to make sure that we could accommodate everyone! This is NOT your average mall Santa experience. No crazy crowds, no cheesy North Pole setup, no long line, just a magical experience for your little ones and a chance to spend some one-on-one time with the big guy himself.
Available dates go quickly so contact the studio to set up your portrait session today!
