Fall in Connecticut is pure magic, and it’s the perfect time to update your family portraits with warmth, color, and connection. My fall sessions are designed to feel natural and unhurried, capturing your family just as you are—laughing, snuggling, exploring, and soaking in the crisp autumn air. I blend simple, classic posing with candid interactions to create images that feel both timeless and personal. Fall Sessions take place in the golden evening light and you can choose between Topsmead Park in Litchfield, Waveny Park in New Canaan, my favorite Simsbury field or a custom location that matches your vision. The result is a beautifully balanced gallery filled with genuine connection, seasonal charm, and soft, natural light.

Who can be included in a family session?
Fall family sessions are best suited for immediate families, children, maternity portraits, or even just the kids. We offer a range of session options to fit your budget, family size, and the number of final images you’re hoping for. Whether you’re looking for a great picture for your Christmas card, something short and simple or a full experience with the whole family, there’s a session that’s just right for you.
What should we wear?
After booking, you’ll receive a comprehensive “What to Wear” guide filled with styling tips, color palettes, and even a link to my Pinterest boards for inspiration. You'll also find a list of blog posts below which cover this topic in depth. You’re also welcome to reach out for help coordinating outfits.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
Turnaround time is quick! You’ll receive a fully edited image gallery within 2 weeks - often sooner. From there, you can select your favorites and download your images directly from the gallery.
What happens if it rains?
We will reschedule! If the forecast calls for rain or conditions aren’t ideal (too cold, too windy, etc.), I’ll be in touch with potential make-up dates.
