Christmas photos are a tradition that never goes out of style. In my Farmington, CT studio, I offer two options to capture the season. Santa mini sessions are just for the kids and focus on sweet, candid santa photos that feel magical and personal. Holiday mini sessions are designed for families who want beautiful, updated holiday photos without a big time commitment.
Both sessions are styled in my clean and natural way, and either option will give you holiday photos you’ll love using for cards and gifts. These holiday photoshoots are only available on select dates throughout November, and they fill quickly each year.

What should we wear?
Some families love to get dressed up while others prefer cozy pajamas - the choice is yours! I recommend winter or holiday-themed pajamas or simple clothing in muted, neutral tones. Shades of cream, white, red, green, soft browns, and gold are perfect for holiday sessions. I provide all of my clients with wardrobe recommendations and a Pinterest board full of ideas to make planning easy.
What will the set look like this year?
The set changes every year, which keeps things fresh for returning families. I start designing once the stores roll out their Christmas décor, posting updates on my Instagram as I go, and the final look usually comes together in early November. You can expect it to stay true to my simple, timeless style with a subtle holiday touch.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
Turnaround time is quick, with plenty of time to order Christmas cards! You’ll receive a fully edited image gallery within 1 week - often sooner. From there, you can select your favorites and download your images directly from the gallery.
What if my child is afraid of Santa?
It happens all the time, and you’re not alone! If your child isn’t feeling it, we’ll go with the flow. Sometimes that means capturing their genuine reactions, and sometimes it means asking Santa to step aside so we can take a few photos without him. Either way, we’ll make sure you leave with sweet, memorable images.
Who can be included in each session type?
Santa mini sessions are just for the kids. They’re all about capturing those magical childhood moments. Holiday mini sessions are designed for the whole family, so parents can join in.
